Department I.S. Titles
Wooster’s geology program is tailored to the individual. The capstone
of this independent learning process is the senior Independent Study thesis
(I.S.). Students, with the guidance of a faculty mentor, design and pursue
original
geological research. Recent examples include:
- Paleomagnetic Remanence and Anistropy of Magnetic
Susceptibility of Dikes from Super-Fast Spread Crust Exposed at
Pito Deep Rift by

- A Stratigraphic and Paleoenvironmental Study
